One of the unique things about marrying someone from a different country is working out where to live. We often get asked, “What will you do and where will you live after you get married?”. We are very excited about our new chapter together. We have decided to take some time off from Mercy Ships to settle into married life. Our rough plan is to travel after our wedding to Tahiti, New Zealand and then Australia.
We really feel God is calling us back to French-speaking West Africa in a teaching and capacity building context and so we have enrolled into a French immersion school in Albertville. We start January 2015 and we will be there for 6 -10 months (it depends on how fast we learn) We are both very excited
We are aware that many of you are traveling (long distances) to make it to our wedding so we don’t expect gifts as your presence alone means a lot to us. However if you would like to give us a gift, a contribution towards our future would be much appreciated.
